HERBAL OIL MASSAGE

Ayurvedic herbal oil massages are very effective for arthritis, rheumatism, spondylitis, body ache, paralysis, etc. This massage rejuvenates and relaxes the body, improves vitality, and reduces stress.

KIZHI

This treatment induces perspiration through the external application of medicated Kizhi (herbal packs) prepared as boluses and tied in cloth bags. Different types of Kizhi are used, including Navara Kizhi (special rice), Podi Kizhi (herbal powder), and Ela Kizhi (herbal leaves). Kizhi treatment is traditionally used for rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, cervical spondylosis, and intervertebral disc prolapse (IVDP).

DHARA

For Dhara medicated oil or medicated buttermilk will be used by continuously pouring on the forehead. Shirodhara gives total relaxation to the mind and body. It helps to improve memory, ensures sound, and stops hair fall.

HERBAL STEAM BATH

Other than maintaining body temperature sweating mainly helps to eliminate water from the body. After application of medical oil allows the body to sweat in the wooden chamber by medicated vapor. Effective in musculoskeletal neurological diseases.

NASYAM

Medicated powder, decoction, or oil is administered through the nasal passages. The medicine is tailored to the patient’s condition and helps clear accumulated waste from the nose, throat, sinuses, and head. It is traditionally used for headaches, sinusitis, migraines, facial paralysis, neuralgia, and cervical spondylosis.

SHIROVASTI

Specially prepared herbal oils are poured into a cap fitted on the head for 15 to 60 minutes per day according to the patient’s condition, for a period of 7 days. This treatment is highly effective for severe headaches, facial paralysis, burning sensation of the head, and dryness of nostrils, mouth, and throat.

PIZHICHIL

A slow stream of warm medicated oil is poured over the body along with a massage Pizhichil protects from the weakness of nerves, arthritis, body ache, and cervical spondylitis etc. It also rejuvenates the person.

KATI VASTI

Medicated warm oil is applied over the lower back, mainly in the lumbar region. It is beneficial for backache, slipped discs, and lumbar spondylitis.

JANUVASTI

Medicated warm oil is kept over the knee, mainly for knee pain.

GREEVAVASTI

Medicated warm oil is kept over the neck, mainly for neck pain.
